Come On and Take a Sleigh Ride...to Feed the Cows

I am from a family of cattle ranchers and it was my great joy to visit my aunts and uncles and grandparents on their ranches. And when I think of sleigh rides...honestly the first thing that comes to mind was riding in the sleigh to go out to feed the cattle. I looked forward to it with great joy. Now as an adult I can tell you I will still love it! However, I can see from their perspective that when they did it day in and day out, it probably lost a little bit of the magic that it held for me.

When I designed these Christmas cards those sleigh rides to the field were certainly on my mind.

I used the blender pen and my real red ink pad to "color" the sleigh for a different look and I let the Wonder of the Season Specialty Designer Series Paper speak for itself on the card front. On the inside of the card I used a piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the reindeer image on the bottom left side.
